After completing sign up you will need to complete your onboarding activities
We have 3 activities that have been designed to verify your skills and show our Talent Seekers that you have the skills needed to be ready for your first day. Once you have completed these tasks, you are completely ready to be matched to your next opportunity.
This article will take you through the process of completing your activities. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via the website and we will do our best to resolve any issues you are experiencing.
The 3 activities:
- Strengthscope skills
- Lab assessment
- 'Getting to know you' interview
Step 1:
- Visit the 'Essence' page on your profile and find the 'Strengthscope' button
- Watch the explanatory video to understand the Strengthscope process
- Follow the simple steps and answer the questions provided
- This isn't a test - this activity is about highlighting your strengths and discovering new things about yourself!
- You can include the results on your profile
- ...and don't worry, we won't share any of your personal data with Strengthscope!
Step 2:
- Now you are ready for your 2 work based activities!
- Navigate to the 'Onboarding Activities' tab from your dashboard
- Watch a brief video introducing the work-based activities
Step 3:
- The first task you should see is the lab assessment.
- Select ‘let’s go’, and then follow the on-screen instructions which will tell you how to launch the lab and start the exercise.
- Once the lab is launched, it will give you access to an environment where you will be asked to follow the instructions to demonstrate your skills.
- Follow all the on-screen instructions to complete the task. Once complete, you will automatically be returned to the onboarding dashboard, ready to complete your final task, the 'Getting to know you' interview .
Step 4:
- Your ‘Getting to know you on Day One’ activity allows you to practise and showcase your interview skills. This task will give you feedback and the opportunity to improve on your technique before submitting your final answers.
- Follow the onscreen instructions after selecting ‘let’s go’. Your interview will open in a new tab. Once completed, you will be returned to the onboarding dashboard.
- Now you are ready to be matched to your future opportunities!
- It's important to note that our Talent Seekers will only be provided with a transcript of your interview and the feedback so as to remain as unbiased as possible, ensuring that you are being assessed based only on what makes you unique.
There is no limit on your number of practice interviews - and Talent Seekers will not know how many times you took the interview you submit.
